Our April event will celebrate the coming of spring (finally!), and will help raise funds for our “Kat’s Closet” project.

We hope to see you there.

Spring Fling Shindig

Join us as we come together as a community for a potluck meal to shake off the winter blues with good food, good friends, a DJ and some karaoke. We hope you’ll come by to warm up, have a meal, dance, sing and enjoy a great time! If you'd like to bring a meal or snack to share you are welcome to do so, but it is not required. Suggested donation is $5/per person, and kids eat free.

This event will be to raise money for our food pantry and for our Kat's Closet project — a project which will allow us to expand our driveway a little bit more and add another small building so that we can have clothing separate from the food.

We will also be collecting non-perishable food items and personal care items needed for the pantry. (See the “Donate” page for a list of items currently in demand.)

Christmas Decorating on the Farm

Christmas Decorating on the Farm

Join us— weather permitting— for a Christmas-tree-decorating event at the Farm. Get into the spirit of the season over some hot cocoa and snacks with your neighbors as we mark the beginning of the “Giving Season”. Yes, it’s a chance to learn more about how we support our community; but, more than anything, it’s an opportunity to come together in the spirit of the season and remind ourselves what it’s really all about.

Feel free to drop in anytime between 10 am and 2 pm. We look forward to seeing you!

November Souper Saturday

The first in our series of free meals for the community. We will be providing homemade soup & chowder, bread and dessert. Donations appreciated. This will be a great time to visit, get to know your neighbors, and enjoy a meal together. Take-out available.

If you would like to donate items, we are in particular need of warm coats, gloves, and socks as the weather turns colder. You can also visit our Donations page for a current list of requested items.

Community Potluck Fundraiser for Pease Road Fire Victims

Community Potluck Fundraiser for Pease Road Fire Victims

This will be a potluck fundraiser event to bring the community together and show love to Sharon Huckins, who just lost her only son, Tim, in the fire. Scott & Doreen, the two tenants, now have lost their permanent housing and some of their belongings were lost in the fire, so we'd like to help them as well.

Most of all we want people to know they are not alone. We'd like to create better connection through any and all of our events and to bring people together so that— even when the tragedy is no longer on our minds— they still have people they can lean on.

** We will be doing a basket raffle as well. If you'd like to donate a basket of goodies you don't have to let me know: you can just bring it with you when you come, and we will add it to the raffle. I will be doing a basket of Farmstand goods and some other goodies.**

If you'd like to donate a meal to share at the event or a dessert let me know. I greatly appreciate any help

We will also offer school snack handouts at this event. Come fill a bag!
